The Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion along with Government of Goa, is organizing the Startup India Global Venture Capital Summit, a specially curated day - long event for Fund Managers and Limited Partners of Top Global Venture Capital Firms. The event is scheduled for December 7, 2018 at Cidade de Goa Resort, Goa and will be graced by the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry.

Key objective of this summit is mobilising global capital for innovation in India. The summit brings together a series of engagements involving representatives of leading Global Venture Capital Firms, Government of India Officials, large Corporates and select startups. The event will showcase the India Advantage, diversity and scale of Indian market opportunity and the cutting-edge innovations originating in India. We are also aiming at understanding best practices for Venture Capital Industry, identify issues faced by them for investments in India and evaluate ways to address them.
