India Smart Grid Forum -ISGF was established as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative of Government of India for accelerated development of smart grid technologies in the Indian power sector in 2011. ISGF works closely with GoI Ministries and other stakeholders like state governments, electric utilities and electricity regulatory commissions. . ISGF has continuously worked for development and advocacy of Smart Grids in India since its inception. With the experience of extensive work in the domain, ISGF has established itself as a leading organisation in the energy sector for Smart Grids and Smart Cities and has been contacted by international organisation for collaborations and sharing best practices with Indian counterparts and bringing support for new tech demonstrations.

INDIA SMART GRID WEEK (ISGW) is an annual Conference cum Exhibition on Smart Grids and Smart Cities, organized by ISGF every year in New Delhi, India to bring together India’s leading Electricity Utilities, Policy Makers, Regulators, Investors and world’s top-notch Smart Grid Experts and Researchers to discuss trends, share best practices and showcase next generation technologies and products in smart grid and smart cities domain. ISGF has been conducting India Smart Grid Week (ISGW) since 2015. Within a short span of 4 years ISGW has emerged as the global signature event on Smart Grids and Smart Cities which is attended by the top most experts from around the world.

With the inclusion of Gas Distribution and Water Distribution Utilities which are equally relevant in the Smart City domain, ISGF is conducting India Smart Utility Week (ISUW)in 2019 scheduled from 12 - 16 March 2019 to be held in Manekshaw Center, New Delhi.
