Admissions open at Nālandā University for the Academic Batch 2019-21

Nālandā University is established in 2010 under a special Act of the Indian Parliament and designated as an “institution of national importance”. Nalanda University is an avant-garde, postgraduate, research-intensive, international university supported by the 17 Member States of the East Asia Summit. Like historical Nālandā University, the new Nālandā University also strives to be the centre of excellence in various disciplines.
The University is located in Rajgir (Bihar), 10 kms from Ancient Nalanda University, it seeks to build on its rich ancient roots as a centre for education and inter-civilizational dialogue and revive the glory of the prestigious Nālandā University that existed from the fifth century CE to twelfth century CE. 
For the academic batch 2019-21, the University is offering two years Master’s programs in the areas of 
                   a) Buddhist Studies, Philosophy & Comparative Religion; 
                   b) Ecology & Environment Studies; 
                   c) Historical Studies.
