In light of the increasing trajectory of COVID-19 cases in some countries across the world Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India released fresh guidelines on 29.12.2022 which will be effective from 1.1.2023. This is in supersession of earlier Guidelines dated 22 December.

Passengers traveling from certain high-risk countries- China (incl HK), RoK, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand need to fill out the self-declaration form and upload negative RT-PCR test results (taken within 72 hours of travel from these countries) in the Air Suvidha Portal. This requirement will also apply to transiting passengers through these countries irrespective of the originating country.
