Business Visa

  

    The Business Visa is granted to a foreign national who wants to visit India to establish an industrial/business venture or to explore possibilities to set up such venture and wants to purchase/sell industrial products in India. The applicant should be a person of assured financial standing and with expertise in the field of the intended business. It is not granted for petty trading.

     

    The Business Visa must be issued from the country of origin, or from the country of domicile of the foreigner.

     

    Documents required: Applicants for business visa are required to attach the following documents with the print out of the online visa application form:-
    (a) Invitation letter from the relevant Indian company and recommendation letter from the Singapore Company are mandatory.
    (b) Certificate of incorporation of the Indian company and ACRA details of the Singapore company can be asked for, if required.
    (c) One colour photograph in white background (size 2" x 2") and original Passport.

    Frequent business travellers to India and those who have been issued business visas by the High Commission in the past may apply for long term business visas.
