Darpan with support of The High Commission of India, Singapore proudly presents internationally celebrated film Hotel Salvation (Mukti Bhawan).  

 Set in the backdrop of Benares, Mukti Bhawan is a story of a son reluctantly accompanying his father for his final journey in life, at a housing facility catered specifically for such interests. 

Not many people like talking about death, but Shubhashish Bhutiani visits this with his film and with comedic aplomb and intensity . With a cast that boasts the stellar talent of Adil Hussain along with Lalit Behl and Gitanjali Kulkarni, Hotel Salvation (Mukti Bhawan) has created quite the buzz both internationally across festivals together with a national award in India and the best film at the New York Indian Film Festival. The film has also won a UNESCO award for the 25 year old director.
